PLANNED ACTIVITIES

TAKE, MAKE, & DONATE LARGESS TABLE
What is a “Take, Make, & Donate” table? Shandra will have craft kits that contains a ready-to-make project that should take 2 hours or less to complete.

Each kit will include all needed materials, supplies, and instructions (things like needles and scissors will be available to borrow at the table if you don’t have your own). Once your kit is completed, return the extra materials and the finished craft back to the “Take, Make and Donate” table to be given to the Crown as largess in Court that evening.

Example Craft Kits include a simple 16th century belt purse, a seamless woven bag (may take longer than 2 hours), and a travel pin cushion.

COMBAT AT TOWER PARK
Planning to open the field half an hour after morning court, and lists for both steel and rattan.

Steel: Non-Rigid parry tournament 1PM. Bring a sword and something floppy! A cloak, a chicken, whatever you like, as long as it meets the inspection requirements for use in Calontir Steel Combat. The format will be dictated by number of entrants.

Teams will consists of one fighter with weapon and shield, the other with a set of throwing axes (full gauntlets required). They will be tethered to each other at the waist with 6 feet of cord.
